A video introduction to r/SampleSize, a community on Reddit that allows for online participant recruitment without compulsory or immediate payment. I provide an overview of best practices for recruiting participants on r/SampleSize and compare r/SampleSize to Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk). Invited by the Southern California Clinical and Translational Science Institute (University of Southern California). See paper for additional information!

A tutorial on measurement invariance testing (also known as measurement equivalence )  using R and MPlus using 2 approaches (confirmatory factor analysis, alignment optimization) published in Psychological Methods. We provide an overview of what measurement invariance is, propose 4 key considerations to help decide which approach to use, and illustrate these considerations on a real dataset. Comes with code, a step-by-step annotated analysis report, and an example preregistration.
